- Looking for the beaches? Skiathos, Koufonisi, Milos, and Elafonisos. All depends on your age group, likes & dislikes, not a beach person, etc.
- Looking for more authentic islands? Amorgos, Serifos, Astypalaia, Schoinousa, Donoussa, Irakleia, Karpathos, and Samos Island.
- Santorini Island: Since it’s a popular must-see, we recommend visiting Santorini (fly) as a day trip or with an overnight stay so you have a full day (but have to check in/out, luggage, etc). Enjoy the iconic cliff side views, then continue on to another island or mainland Greece.
- Mykonos Island: Are you over 50-60? Skip! Santorini, Paros, Naxos, etc, will be better (still busy) places for you.
- Crete Island: Wonderful big place and best if you have several days available. You can combine it with Santorini by flying to Crete first, taking a boat to Santorini (only during high season), then returning to Athens by speedboat or plane.
